Exciting day today – going to cross the border and leave the US – going into Mexico today.
We decided… well… we didn’t have time to plan our route exactly so we’re going to plan in en route – will give us something to do at night π
We got a device called SPOT that will be broadcasting our location constantly.
I created a little program that grabs that data and plots it on a MAP – the link on the top right of the blog will also take you there… You can see the points/route I’ve done so far from NY. Added the red line for better effect π
Off we go!!
Equipment on the bike
Here’s a quick video that shows all the “junk” that I am taking with me on the bike π

Trip Route
Probably one of the most asked questions – what is the route?
So here it is… a tentative one at least.Β
Marc and I should be sitting down today and figuring out in more detail where we are going to stop each day with the help of some guide books we got – on the bottom of the spreadsheet you will find a tab with MAP where you can see the route on a map π
