So off to the 5th day of the trip… going to try to get to Badlands
National Park – 445 miles – very long stretch for one day but let’s
see how far I go… forecast is a little rain on the way but I should
plow through it in no time π
Bank
Argh!! Problems with my credit card – several unrecognized withdrawals
and purchases!!! Call with Citibank keep getting dropped. They're
going to have to cancel my card and I will have to go to an agency to
sort it out.
Unnecessary aggravation π
Video
Kind of out of sync with the other updates but here’s a little bit of video I took during these first 4 days π

Day 4
Changing my routine a bit today. I have been waking up at 8am and on
the bike by 9am but was getting to my destination around 3pm – fine if
there are things to see but now I have about 3 or 4 days with no major
interest points along the way. So I'm going to have a good breakfast
and start a little later than usual to get to a campground just before
sunset.
Yellowstone here I come π
Ah! There is a point of interest along the way – Badlands National
Park – but that's tomorrow night probably.
Correction
longoeu has left a new comment on your post “First gas stop“:the famous route is 66 (bob dylanΒ΄s)from chicago to sta monica ca.

InstaMapper
I am using an iPhone application called GPS Tracker to track my location… I don’t leave it turned on since it drains the battery of the phone but whenever I stop I update the location… the map also only stores up to 100 past locations… not perfect but gives us an idea of my stops…Β
