Bike Fenders
Today I was finally able to test out the new beautifully designed fenders for my bike… drizzling on the way to school and back… full of puddles and wet floor. Fenders worked great keeping at bay the water that flies off the spinning tires… not to mention that they are light, solid, silent and gorgeous 🙂

Learning Environments – Week 10 – Mind Map
Got all the post its from our group meeting, typed them up and created some mind maps… grouping is coming along but I’m thinking about applying the learning theories to the environment I was observing previously.

Notes on Methods 2
Next quarter I am going to start taking notes on the computer again… even though there seems to be a little extra learning when writing things down on a paper, the study and referencing back to them is a nightmare.
On one hand no copy/pasting means that I have to actually re-read and re-type the notes. On the other hand, it is really tedious to search.
Maybe a notebook that holds all the notes in chronological order might help, even though I’ve used several in the past, and they simply became a to do list where I crossed things out as they were completed. Plus it is still tedious to search through written notes.
SO – going to try to take notes directly onto the blog, making them more multimedia with links and diagrams. Let’s see
A note on method
Thought I’d might state that I alter the post dates to match the day of the subject matter, not the day I actually create the post…
Day with Matt and Liv
Got my bike, hopped on the CalTrain to SF and spent the day biking around with Matt and his 7 year old daughter – what a cyclist! We even had an incident with an old lady cutting us off because we did not stop at the cross walk.
Karaoke
After the EdClub pot luck dinner, went to Karaoke with Saya, Matt, Sherry and Marc.
What happens in Karaoke stays in Karaoke… kkk

Saturday – day off
Met up with André Borges, friend from Brasil who’s been working at Apple for the past 10 years, and went to his annual Pre-Thx-Thx 2015. Great food, great people, great beer 🙂
At night went to Omair’s get together at Oak Creek Apts – good fun with fellow LDTers. Needles to say that I slept well 🙂
